Research, development and implementation of a multilingual receptionist robot to serve guests of a hotel

Innovation Points

E-Reception investment project will introduce the following points of technological innovation in order to achieve the objectives of the project:

  1. Implementation of a multilingual reception robot to serve guests of a hotel with all the features they need
  2. Implementation of verification of the visitor’s identity using some feature that has e.g. Passport or identity card and
  3. Implementation of state-of-the-art Recommender System methods using (Deep Learning) neural networks that enable better personalized tourist content recommendations.

Expected Results

The connection of research and innovation with entrepreneurship, the strengthening of competitiveness, productivity and extroversion is one of the main objectives of the action, in the context of which the present proposal is being prepared. Beyond the dissemination and publicity actions found in the successful transfer of project results to stakeholders and decision-makers.

The aim of the actions is to convince potential customers to adopt and implement the results of the plan. The actions of economic and commercial exploitation of the results are very important to ensure the sustainable development of the results even after the completion of the project.
